Ian Carroll grew up in the Riverina town of Ardlethan on his family property ‘Glenmore.’ Working on both his own and his family’s mixed farming enterprises, Ian developed a passion for regenerative agricultural practices with the use of conventional farming.

After playing professional AFL, roles in construction project management, transport and even a stint in operations on a NT crocodile farm; this jack of all trades moved to the picturesque Southern Highlands with his wife over 10 years ago.

Back to his farming roots, Ian has developed a successful business currently managing and consulting agricultural properties totalling over 3500 acres in the Highlands and Southern Tablelands. Services include livestock management, pasture improvements, weed control, AI program management, pre-purchase farm consultation; and education on biodynamic and regenerative farming practices.

A recent rebranding saw the birth of ‘Terra Agriculture’. With an emphasis on the importance of our mother earth, the new brand highlights Ian’s passion towards regenerative and holistic farming techniques; producing healthier soils, crops and livestock.
